Overview

Around Manaslu  Larkya La Trek, is an interesting trek that will take you to an off-beaten trail in the Manaslu region. This newly opened trial offers a good mix of cultural diversity and beautiful views of mountains. The entire trail is full of diverse, remote, and secluded areas with difficult topography, as a result of varying altitudes – 600 m to 5,135 m. As well as the views of Ganesh Himal, Siringi Himal, and Boudha Himal are seen throughout the trek. Also, the journey is full of fascinating high-altitude lakes. Since the area is very remote and isolated, it has preserved some unique species of floras and faunas.

Furthermore, Around Manaslu  Larkya La Trek can be one of the most remarkable journeys. It will take you to a huge and spectacular valley with stunning views of Mt. Manaslu. When you walk in this region, the trail will keep on changing until its end, which makes the journey even more interesting. The villages of this region are predominantly influenced by Buddhist culture. Hence, a perfect opportunity to get some insights into the culture of this region.  Also, the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains is a blessing during the trek. As well the mesmerizing walk through rhododendron and pine forests will help you find peace within yourself. The changes in the views of mountains along the way are enchanting.

Around Manaslu  Larkya La Trek starts from Arughat which is around a six-seven-hour drive from Kathmandu city. From Arughat, you continue walking into the beautiful valley of Manaslu. On the way, you pass Sotikhola, Jagat, Namarung, Deng, and Samagaon. No sooner, you will find yourself on the trekking route of the Annapurna Circuit trek which ascends up to Pisang. You ascend up until you pass Manang, Yak kharka and Thorong la pass to Muktinath. After relishing the beautiful mountain panorama, you take a walk to Jomsom. In Jomsom, you will take a flight back to Pokhara. Your trek concludes with a drive back to Kathmandu after a good day in Pokhara.
