Manaslu Larkya La Trek, an interesting trek which will take you to an off beaten trail of Mansalu region. This newly opened trial offers a good mix of cultural diversity and beautiful views of mountains. The entire trail is full of diverse, remote and secluded area with difficult topography, as a result of varying altitudes – 600 m to 5,135 m. As well as the views of Ganesh Himal, Siringi Himal and Boudha Himal are seen throughout the trek. Also the journey is full of fascinating high altitude lakes. Since the are is very remote and isolated, it has preserves some unique species of floras and faunas.
Furthermore, this trek can be one of the most remarkable journeys. It will take you to a huge and spectacular valley with stunning views of Mt. Manaslu. When you walk in this region, the trail will keep on changing until its end, which makes the journey even more interesting. The villages of this region is predominantly influenced by Buddhist culture. Hence, a perfect opportunity to get some insights about the culture of this region. Also the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains is a blessing during the trek. As well the mesmerizing walk through rhododendron and pine forests will help you find peace within yourself. The changes in the views of mountains along the way is enchanting.
Your journey starts from Arughat which is around six- seven hours drive from the Kathmandu city. From Arughat, you continue walking into the beautiful valley of Manaslu. On the way, you pass Sotikhola, Jagat, Namarung, Deng and Samagaon. No sooner, you will find yourself in the trekking route of Annapurna Circuit trek which ascends up to Pisang. You ascend up until you pass Manang, Yak kharka and Thorong la pass to Muktinath. After relishing the beautiful mountain panorama, you take a walk to Jomsom. In Jomsom you will take a flight back to Pokhara. Your trek concludes with a drive back to Kathmandu after a good day in Pokhara.

Regarding your arrival
As you arrive at the airport in Kathmandu, you will have to pay the Visa charges to enter in to Nepal. Two passport size photos are necessary for this purpose.
Your guide will be there at the airport to pick you up and escort you to the hotel for check in. After a bit of refreshment, your guide will explain your itinerary and your plan ahead.
We offer you the best accommodations possible. The rooms will be clean, comfortable and homely. In Kathmandu, you will stay at a hotel with deluxe rooms. During the trek, you will stay at the best guesthouses or lodges. Generally, accommodation during the trek in guesthouses are on sharing basis. However, the rooms are clean, comfortable and the warm welcome of the people in the guesthouses will make you feel greeted and homely.
Meals and Drinking water facility
The meals during the trek are included in the package that we offer. The meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner during the trek. Other snacks and personal preference items are not included in our package.
If you want to exchange your currency with the Nepalese currency, you can exchange it at the counters in airport. It is reliable when you exchange the currency through banks or other certified money exchangers. You can find the exchange rate for the day in website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended as it is for your own safety and security. Our package doesn’t include the cost of travel insurance. You are responsible for your travel insurance.
Import and Export during the travel
You can import some duty free items prescribed by the Custom Act in Nepal. You can bring a 1.15ml bottle of distilled liquor, 200 cigarettes and 50 cigars. Also you can also bring laptop, video camera, binoculars and other portable items that are essential for you. In case of export, it is prohibited to carry the paintings, manuscripts or other things of cultural importance which carries over 100 years of history. In case you purchase any kind of statues of paintings, you need to verify it at the Department of Archaeology before export.
High altitude sickness
Many people suffer from high altitude sickness while they opt out for trekking in high altitude regions. There might be various causes for high altitude sickness. It may be due to lack of your body endurance or due to lack of proper acclimatization and many more, Therefore, one needs to be alert about the possible risks. Himal Eco Treks (HET) team always carries a first aid tool with them in case of emergencies. However, it is recommended for you to keep the knowledge of high altitude sickness.
